Alba started swing dancing because the swing people were exactly the crowd she was looking for in a new city, with the time the dancing on the dance floor led her to ecstasy, and she was really hooked when the jazz music found a big space in her heart. There was no way back then!. She loves all the different dance styles of the swing era: Lindy Hop, Blues, Balboa and Authentic Jazz, all of which she trains in and teaches regularly.
She started teaching locally in leeds since 2008 and in London for swing patrol in 2010. The dancing grew on her and she held the dream to have enough time to train and develop her dancing at the level she wished, to become a full time teacher and an organizer in her hometown Madrid. In November 2012 she decided to have the guts to fulfill her dream, quitted her job and moved back to Madrid, where she opened a swing school (Big Mama Swing), alongside with an international top lead, Gastón Fernández.. This step in her life is lead her to being asked to teach internationally with increasing frequency at different international events: Uppsala (Sweden), Stockholm, Barcelona, Paris, Toulouse, La Guiole, Valencia, Lisbon, Porto, New York (USA, Nocturne Blues), Melbourne and perth (Australia) and she had the pleasure to teach at Herrang Dance Camp (2014, 2015 for lindy hop, 2016 slow dance). She is eager to share with everybody her passion for dance that has taken over her life.

From Rome, Italy, Leonardo started his journey as a dancer at the age of 13 diving into Hip Hop and its related styles, where he performed, trained and competed nationally. After discovering Lindy Hop at a music and cultural festival in Rome, he never turned back since and his passion and love for the dance has only continued to grow. Apart from his strong focus and studies in Lindy Hop, he also teaches Blues, Authentic Jazz and St Louis Shag and has recently discovered his love for Tap Dance. As he loves to take inspiration and ideas from as many dance styles as possible such as Balboa, Contemporary, Modern Dance, Afro and Ballet.

Leonardo believes that using knowledge from various styles of dance supports stronger understanding and awareness of body movement and therefore a better understanding of and connection with the partner during couple dance.

Leonardo has been travelling, teaching, performing, competing & attending dance classes with the best international Swing Dancers around the world, developing his own dynamic style and unique personality.

He is looking forward to share his best dance concepts and ideas with your community !

Davide’s musical adventure begins when he starts playing drums in a band and collaborating with a Genoese folk songwriter. He soon becomes interested in Jazz music and in 2012 he starts taking Lindy Hop lessons and attending workshops with international teachers monthly.
Davide, an all-age English teacher, decides to follow different Lindy Hop teaching courses and to master the historical-cultural context in which Swing culture evolved, honored by invitations to hold lessons on this subject. His "Lindy Talk", a chat about the origins of Swing, accompanied by music and videos, is hosted in Turin, Milan, Florence, Bologna, Naples, Pescara and many other cities.

In 2014 he starts teaching Lindy Hop in Genoa and in November 2015 he joins the ‘Swing Maniacs’ dance school as a teacher, "historical researcher" and as the dance school’s co-director. In the following months he continues to teach, perform and attend the best Swing Camps and teacher courses in Europe, maintaining his training path as a dancer and a teacher.

In the end of 2016 he starts holding workshops outside of Genoa (in Milan, Savona, Pistoia, Bassano del Grappa, Alessandria, Lecce ...).

In March 2017 he founds, together with Valentina, the "Your Swing" Cultural Association, acting as president.

His lessons are a mixture of musicality, history and technique: you will see him wander in the studio with his pad, playing some of the most engaging videos of the Swing Era and getting excited every time a student emphasizes a break in the music!

As a child she experiments music through playing the piano, and soon after that playing the violin.

As a teenager she starts her first dance moves as funk and hip hop dancer, passionately and constantly training and performing with her dance company in various events and shows.

A few years later she discovers Lindy Hop’s sweeping energy of music and dance... and she was indeed swept by it. How? Studying engagingly and exploiting every possible opportunity to dance and improve by participating, among other things, in numerous workshops and festivals throughout Europe.

She begins teaching at the ‘Swing Maniacs’ dance school since 2016 and in March 2017, together with Davide, she founds the "Your Swing" cultural association of which she is vice president.

She teaches Lindy Hop and Solo Jazz and conducts several workshops in Genoa and beyond.
On the dance floor you will always see her smiling because dancing for her is pure joy!
